1. Information We Collect
When you submit a service request on Vedhian.com, we collect: your name, email address, mobile number, and the birth details of the native whose chart is to be read (name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth). For matchmaking services, we collect the same details for both persons. We also collect the content of your question or inquiry. Payment information is processed entirely by Razorpay and is never stored on our servers. There is an option to pay us through direct UPI in case of a failure of the payment gateway, in such a case we store the reference number of the payment duly entered by the customer.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to prepare and deliver your reading, to communicate with you about your order, and to send the completed reading to your email address. We do not use your information for marketing without your explicit consent. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or birth data with any third party under any circumstances.
3. Confidentiality of Birth Data
We treat birth data — and the questions you ask — as completely confidential and deeply personal. This information is used only by the reader preparing your report. It is not shared with other staff, contractors, or any third party. We understand that questions about relationships, health, sexuality, and spiritual life are deeply private, and we handle all such data with the highest respect.
4. Data Retention
Your order information and reading details are retained for up to 12 months to enable follow-up correspondence and re-consultation. After this period, personal data is deleted from our records. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at info@vedhian.com.
5. Cookies
Vedhian.com uses only functional cookies necessary for the website to operate correctly (such as session management for the admin panel). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies that collect personal information.
6. Payment Security
All payments are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway. We never see, receive, or store your card number, CVV, or banking credentials. For UPI payments, only the UPI transaction reference number is collected from you after payment.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; withdraw consent for us to hold your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@vedhian.com. We will respond within 7 working days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Vedhian.com after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
