1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website www.vedhian.com ("Website"), owned and operated by Vedhian ("we", "us", "our"), a sole proprietorship / entity registered in India. By accessing or using the Website, placing an order, or availing any service, you ("User", "you", "your") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Website.

These Terms are published in accordance with the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules thereunder, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and other applicable laws of India.

2. Definitions

"Services" means the Vedic astrology consultations, Tarot readings, gemstone recommendations, matchmaking reports, binding reports, essential oil blends, Nabhi therapy consultations, courses, and any other service or digital product offered through the Website.

"Order" means a request placed by the User for any Service, whether paid or complimentary.

"Reading" or "Report" means the personalised consultation or analysis prepared and delivered by Vedhian in response to an Order.

"Payment Gateway" means the third-party payment processing service (currently Razorpay) used to process payments on the Website.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Website and place Orders. By using the Website, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under 18, you may use the Website only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Nature of Services

The Services provided by Vedhian are based on traditional Indian systems of knowledge including Jyotish Shastra (Vedic Astrology), Tarot, Ayurveda, and Vedantic philosophy. These Services are offered for guidance, self-reflection, and educational purposes only.

The readings and reports provided by Vedhian do not constitute and shall not be construed as medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or psychological counselling. Users are advised to consult qualified professionals for any medical, legal, financial, or mental health decisions.

Vedhian makes no claims of supernatural powers, guarantees of future events, or promises of specific outcomes. All interpretations are based on the practitioner's study of traditional texts and their application to the data provided by the User.

5. Ordering and Service Delivery

When you place an Order, you agree to provide accurate and complete information including your name, email address, and any birth details required for the Service. Inaccurate information may result in an inaccurate reading; Vedhian shall not be held responsible for errors arising from incorrect data provided by the User.

Upon successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation via email. The Service will be delivered to the email address provided within the timeframe mentioned on the respective service page, typically within 3–7 working days. Delivery timelines may vary based on the complexity of the Service and demand.

Vedhian reserves the right to refuse or cancel any Order at its sole discretion, in which case a full refund will be processed.

6. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on the Website are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated. Prices are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless explicitly mentioned otherwise.

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway. Vedhian does not store, collect, or have access to your credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI credentials. All payment data is handled entirely by the Payment Gateway in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards.

Vedhian reserves the right to modify pricing at any time. Any price change will not affect Orders already placed and confirmed.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be made via email to info@vedhian.com within 24 hours of placing the Order, provided the Service has not yet been commenced or delivered.

• Full Refund: If the cancellation request is received within 24 hours and work on the Order has not commenced, a full refund will be processed.

• Partial Refund: If work on the Order has commenced but is not yet delivered, a partial refund of up to 50% may be issued at Vedhian's discretion.

• No Refund: Once a Reading or Report has been delivered to the User's email address, no refund shall be provided, as the Service is fully consumed upon delivery.

• Refund for Non-Delivery: If Vedhian fails to deliver the Service within 15 working days of payment without prior communication, the User is entitled to a full refund.

All approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method. Refunds for UPI or bank transfer payments will be credited to the User's bank account.

For physical products (essential oil blends), cancellation is permitted before dispatch. Once dispatched, returns are accepted only if the product is damaged or defective upon delivery, subject to photographic evidence sent to info@vedhian.com within 48 hours of receipt.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, articles, course material, and reports — is the intellectual property of Vedhian and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999.

Readings and Reports delivered to Users are for personal use only. Users may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell, or commercially exploit any content from the Website or any delivered Report without prior written consent from Vedhian.

The articles published in the Knowledge section are the original work of Vedhian's contributors and are protected by copyright. Brief excerpts may be quoted with proper attribution and a link back to the original article.

9. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

By using the Website, you agree not to:

• Use the Website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose. • Submit false, misleading, or another person's personal information without their consent. • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website, server, or database. • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Website. • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Website. • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from the Website. • Reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit the Services or content without authorisation.

Vedhian reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any User found in violation of these Terms.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy. By using the Website, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

Vedhian collects personal data (name, email, phone number, birth details) solely for the purpose of delivering the requested Service. Birth data and consultation details are treated as strictly confidential.

Vedhian complies with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• Vedhian shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or in connection with the use of the Website or Services.

• Vedhian's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the use of the Website or Services shall not exceed the amount paid by the User for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.

• Vedhian is not responsible for any decisions made by the User based on the Readings, Reports, or content provided. All Services are for informational and guidance purposes only.

• Vedhian shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, internet failures, or server outages.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and all Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Vedhian does not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Vedhian does not warrant or make any representations regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any Reading or Report.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vedhian, its owner(s), employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or in connection with: (a) your use of the Website or Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of a third party; or (d) any content or data you submit through the Website.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services (including the Payment Gateway). Vedhian does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. The inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement by Vedhian. You access third-party websites at your own risk.

15. Grievance Redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, any grievance, complaint, or concern regarding the Website, Services, or these Terms may be directed to:

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

The parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably through negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may initiate legal proceedings.

17. Modifications to Terms

Vedhian reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Website. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised.

Continued use of the Website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any service-specific terms displayed at the time of ordering, constitute the entire agreement between you and Vedhian regarding the use of the Website and Services, superseding any prior agreements or communications.
